Cabarete, Dominicain Republic , November 12, 2011. Day 2

We made it to Puerto Plata, arrived at the airport at 11 wearing jeans and a hoodie...  Didn't took too long that we we changed that for shorts and tank top, It's + 33 degree here today. Awesome to be in the warm.
Jose our driver was waiting for us outside the airport with a sign and our name written on it. The drive from Puerto Plata to Cabarete was CRAZY....  I thought we were gonna die about 10 times on that ride..  There's no road rules here so everyone does whatever they want to do. HaHa. We made it to Porta del mare, the place that we will be staying for our trip. It's so beautiful, Ocean front, pool and hot tub... really nice place. After getting set up we went and ate at Kite club which was delicious, we also got a little tour of the place and the surf spot that we will be surfing all week. 

Tonight on the menu, were a really good chicken dinner cooked by Lucas. It was delicious by the way, then we get our drink on to celebrate our arriving! Ann-Julie starts to speak in English after 2 bottles or wine and a 26 of rhum! haha. Later on, we went to a fancy little bar with an indoor pool, but expensive drinks! we finished up our night by going to make Poutine at Claudia's and went to bed at about 3:45... we gotta wake up at 5:45 to go surf tomorrow morning!! haha  Awesome
